I am a PhD candidate in History and Theory of Architecture at Princeton. My dissertation examines the creation of a racialized "model citizen" in the Model Cities Program, the mid-twentieth century American initiative that expanded on urban renewal to include social programs and citizen participation. I also research the architecture of Asian America, with a focus on Korean-owned small businesses.

At Princeton, I work on the Black Architects Archive, am an editor of the journal Pidgin, and co-organize the Faculty-Graduate Asian American Studies Reading Group.
